I wasn't aware of this until a friend of mine brought it up. This is what they called a mini-con, but it's a very controversial one due to them wanting to be more tolerant of public displays of affection.

I went to see "Saw 6" since I'm a fan of the series.  I must say, it was the most grusome movie I have ever seen.  Definitely not for the faint of heart.  I nearly got sick to my stomach at the end of the movie and I'm not usually one that reacts much.

There was an exercise we did in psychology class tonight that seemed to have the class split.  The problem was if you had to live on an island for at least two years, which would you choose?  There are two islands.  The first island, all that you can eat is brown gruel and you can eat as much as you want.  The second island, you have lots of varieties to eat from, but you cannot satisfy your craving; never full.  Which would you have chosen?

I was led to a journal today that belongs to a furry by the name of ChewFox.  What I found in the latest entry really pissed off a lot of furries including myself.  ChewFox, along with her partner TomCat, were on the Tyra Banks Show today talking about sex.  They included furries in the conversation.  You two messed up BIIIIIG.  There were a lot of negative comments slamming ChewFox and her 15 minutes of fame.  They claimed that furries were those who had and inner animal.  That's only a portion of the fandom and they're called therianthropists.  The fursuit sex is especially a very small portion of the fandom, and was the part that really pissed us off.  I just posted a video expressing my feelings about it.  ChewFox has been banned from FA, and blacklisted from a con (I won't say which one).  So to ChewFox, congratulations, you got your 15 minutes of fame and lost a lot of fans, and possibly friends.

Well I have found out today that someone at my apartment complex has caught the swine flu (H1N1).  That had me alarmed for a bit.  Ever since I've heard this, I've been suddenly making sure that I am sterile.  With me being in college, it does raise my chances of being infected compared to others.  I'll do what I can to stay healthy.  EEP!  Did I just hear a cough?  *sprays down the area and scrubs everyone*  O.o

For the first time ever in the US version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, a man by the name of Ken became the first contestant to miss the $1 million queston.  It is the worst possible thing to happen in the game.  He had lost a total of $475,000 ending up with $25,000.  You'll notice in the clip the music is different when he misses the question as it has never happened before in the US.

This past Monday, another Disney cast member has died on the job.  This time it was a stuntman from the Indiana Jones stunt show at Hollywood Studios.  He had injured his head during practice.  This is the 3rd time in two months that someone at Disney died on the job.  This includes the monorail crash, and the pirate who slipped on a piece of ice and hit his head.

Ok, here's what happened.  If you keep track of me on Youtube, you know I make a vlog at least 1 or 2 times a week as well as videos of my travels.  Earlier this week after I returned from NYC, some idiot filed a DMCA complaint against 2 of my videos causing my account to be suspended.  I immediately filed a counterclaim and got my account back within a few hours and just today my videos came back online.  The guy who filed the claims against me was caught and looks like has a lawsuit coming to him.  This guy had used different names in an attempt to protect his identity.  He even used a couple of furries names to make others put the blame on him.  I seriously believe the Digital Millenium Copyright Act is flawed, and this was an example of why that is.

I bought lottery tickets for the Pick 3.  The drawing I got my tickets for was for Wednesday night.  I was just checking the numbers and I found out if one of my tickets was on Tuesday night's drawing, I would have won $80.  I had picked the right numbers but I picked the wrong drawing!  >.<  And we're talking a 1 out of 166 chance for any order.  Damn it!

I went to Hulu.com and watched the whole 3rd season of Solitary.  For those that don't know, it's a reality show that takes 9 "humans" and places them in isolation pods and puts them through different tests such as smelling concentrate of roadkill and hanging on ropes for hours.  The only friend they'll have is a computer named Val.  The eliminations are determined by whoever quits the "treatments" first.  The winner gets $50,000.  I would describe this as Portal coming to life.  I saw the final episode and instead of giving the winner $50,000, Val decided to make him continue the experiment...forever  o.o

This one is a lot better than the book I talked about yesterday.  This one actually focuses on teens (in this case, one goes to last year's Anthrocon).  I'm happy to see that this shows exactly what we do.
